Advantage West Midlands
Advantage West Midlands is the Regional Development Agency for the West Midlands. It was established by the government in 1999 along with 7 other RDA's, to transform England's regions through sustainable economic development. All RDA's are non departmental public bodies that are accountable to the Department of Trade and Industry.
Homes & Communities Agency
The Homes and Communities Agency is the national housing and regeneration delivery agency for England, whose role is to create thriving communities and affordable homes. The agency works nationally but support the delivery of the ambitions of local partners to provide better places that offer great homes and good jobs in well-served communities where people enjoy living and can afford.
Telford & Wrekin Council
Telford & Wrekin Council is a unitary authority that has responsibility for all local government services in the area including education, social services and libraries. It is one of the top performing councils in the West Midlands, rated four star by the Audit Commission - an independent watchdog.
Business Environmental Support Scheme Telford (BESST)
Assisting businesses to improve environmental performance, boost competitiveness and reduce their impact on the environment. With a membership of over 80 local businesses, BESST offers:

- Training and education on the benefits of reuse, recycling and waste minimisation

Around 60 members meet quarterly to network and discuss key topics within the human resource management field. Some of Telfords key companies in a variety of business sectors are represented. The forum also runs a virtual information service where examples of best practice and benchmarking information is shared amongst the group confidentially
Recruitment & Redundancy Support Group (RRSG)
Offering a confidential and practical service through a single point of contact to companies when managing the redundancy process. Employees are given access to advice on:
- re-training
- starting their own business
- guidance on how to create a CV
- interview techniques
Telford Business Partnership (TBP)
A membership organisation exclusively for companies operating in the Business and Professional Services sector. With over 120 members the group includes some of Telford's most influential firms. Members are provided with opportunities to:
- network and develop key business relationships with fellow professionals
- explore opportunities for business collaboration
- find out about current business issues through a range of informative events
Telford & Shropshire Conferences (TSC)
Telford and Shropshire is at the heart of England’s spirit of innovation and achievement. The birthplace of the industrial revolution that changed the world, today Telford and Shropshire offers the same spirit of inspiration and imagination as a conference and events destination.
Telford & Shropshire Marketing Partnership (TSMP)
A membership organisation for businesses in the Tourism Sector. All activities focus on the promotion of Telford and the surrounding area to the local and national leisure markets by way of an AVG and other direct marketing initiatives. Members produce the Annual Visitor Guide and promote the destination to local and national leisure markets. Members are provided with opportunities to network, share good practice and develop their business.
Telford Young Professionals (TYP)
TYP is a networking group designed to create business opportunities, develop business relationships and to provide an environment for young professionals to build a future in Telford & Shropshire. Once you attend an event you’ll be amazed at the number of young professionals who are actively involved with TYP and the local business community.
Telford Technology Park Website
Visit the official website for Telford Technology Park, the 32 hectare (78 acre) location for development in the beautiful county of Shropshire, with excellent road links to Telford town centre, M54 and M6 motorways. Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site
Ironbridge Gorge is a place of beauty and wonder - set in a wooded valley landscape with the River Severn flowing through en route from the hills of Mid Wales to the Bristol Channel. Within the World Heritage Site, an area of about six square miles, are ten museums, the Iron Bridge itself, and numerous other historic and attractive buildings, not to mention an array of craft shops, pubs, restaurants. All this is connected by a network of roads, footpaths and cycle ways running through the idyllic Shropshire countryside.

Telford International Railfreight Park
Led by Telford & Wrekin Council the new rail freight terminal is a £4.2 million development that has regional and national significance. Around 400 local jobs will be created by this project which has regional and national significance. Led by Telford & Wrekin Council a 2.6-mile stretch of railway, closed in 1991, is being reinstated between Donnington and Wellington, allowing freight trains to reach the national network. The £4.2 million development on former military land includes a freight terminal and a major new site of 8.9 hectares (22 acres) capable of taking a warehouse in excess of 37,100 sq m (400,000 sq ft) floor space.
